Operated by MONIPAI LIMITED | New Zealand
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. About HelpMint
HelpMint is operated by MONIPAI LIMITED in New Zealand. HelpMint helps customers arrange local services with independent providers by coordinating requests, quotes and proposed timing. Available service categories are shown on our website and currently include vehicle services, lawn mowing, home cleaning and personal chef services.
MONIPAI LIMITED (company number 8157139) has its registered office at 52 Glidepath Road, Hobsonville, Auckland 0616, New Zealand. For questions about HelpMint, email hello@helpmint.co.nz.
2. What HelpMint does
We review your request, contact potentially suitable independent providers and help communicate quotations and introductions. Providers decide whether to quote or take on work.
HelpMint does not perform the provider's work, buy or sell vehicles, or process payments between customers and providers. The agreement for any work is between you and the named independent provider. HelpMint remains responsible for its own introduction and coordination activities and its obligations under applicable law.
3. Requesting a quote
You must provide accurate information and submit only genuine enquiries you are authorised to make. Do not put unnecessary sensitive information, bank details, passwords, access codes or identity documents into the Notes field.
Submitting a request does not create a confirmed booking, oblige you to buy a service or guarantee that a provider will be available. Preferred dates, locations and arrangements are subject to provider confirmation. Where a request includes more than one activity, the final combination and inclusions are agreed in the provider’s quote. Lawn sizes, home sizes, group sizes and similar estimates are approximate and subject to the provider’s capacity and quote.
We do not currently charge customers for submitting an initial quote request. If HelpMint introduces a paid customer feature later, its cost and terms will be presented separately before any charge applies.
4. Quotes and accepting work
We will identify the provider when passing on their quote or estimate. Please check who will supply the service, its inclusions and exclusions, total price and GST treatment where relevant, proposed timing, cancellation terms and payment arrangements before proceeding. A quote is not necessarily the same as an estimate.
The provider is responsible for its own quotation and the work it accepts. Any changes to scope, price or timing should be agreed with you before additional work proceeds. A preferred date in the HelpMint form is not a confirmed appointment.
5. Payments and cancellations
You pay the independent provider directly under the arrangements agreed with them. HelpMint does not collect deposits or job payments, hold money in escrow or guarantee refunds from the provider.
Raise service-quality, cancellation or payment issues with the provider in the first instance. You can also contact HelpMint where a concern relates to an introduction, information we supplied or conduct by a provider we introduced. Provider terms and charges remain subject to applicable New Zealand law.
6. Provider information
We will describe only checks we have actually carried out and will not claim that a provider is fully vetted, police approved or guaranteed where that is not established. Any check reflects particular information at a particular time and is not a guarantee of future conduct or work quality.
You may ask the provider for appropriate business, experience, insurance or other details relevant to the job.
7. Privacy and introductions
Our Privacy Statement explains how HelpMint handles personal information. We may share a non-identifying description of your job with potential providers. We will seek your agreement before sharing your identifying or contact details with a selected provider, except where disclosure is otherwise required or permitted by law.
An approved introduction is for the requested service, not permission for unrelated marketing. Please tell us if you no longer want us to look for a provider.
8. Appropriate use and availability
Do not misuse HelpMint, submit unlawful or abusive material, impersonate others or try to access another person's information. We may decline or stop processing an enquiry where reasonably needed for security, privacy, safety, unlawful conduct or serious misuse, and will explain when appropriate.
We will take reasonable care in running our service but cannot promise uninterrupted website availability. Technical interruptions do not remove your legal rights.
9. Complaints and your rights
For a concern about HelpMint, email support@helpmint.co.nz with your request reference and an explanation of the issue. For privacy matters, email privacy@helpmint.co.nz.
HelpMint is responsible for its own acts and omissions; independent providers are responsible for the services they supply. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or duties that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986 and Privacy Act 2020.
These terms do not prevent you from contacting a regulator or using a court or tribunal with jurisdiction.
10. Changes and governing law
New Zealand law governs these terms. We may update them for future use of HelpMint and display the effective date of the current version. An update does not retrospectively change an existing agreement you made with a provider or remove rights that have already arisen.
